Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder (born Winona Laura Hornowitz) was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her after the town she grew up in. Michel Horowitz' father was an author and editor and editor, as was Cynthia Palmer and her mother. Ryder's father was born into a Jewish family. Ryder considers her self Jewish. She is also half-sister to Sunyata Jubal. Her younger brother is Uria. Ryder's parents moved her along with her siblings in Mendocino County California when Ryder turned seven. In those days, there wasn't electricity. Television books were Ryder's only distraction to pass the time. Eventually, she began to read extensively. When she turned twelve, Ryder enrolled in the American Conservatory Theatre to take acting classes. Lucas The film from 1986 that she was in, was her debut major role. Ryder was just 15 when she got it. Ryder suffered from bullying throughout highschool. Ryder hoped the acting profession would end this. But, unfortunately, that didn't take place. However, she continued to pursue her dreams. She got her break through Tim Burton's Beetlejuice in the year 1988. Ryder was later cast in successful roles. In 1993 she received two nominations for Academy Awards. One of them for her role in The Age of Innocence.
